A Few Words About Us
Wyant and Son Monument Company was founded in 1962 by Mike Wyant at his home in Dallas, NC. Mike and his wife, Polly, had 5 children. Their oldest son, Leon, took over the business when Mike suffered a stroke and was no longer able to manage the business.
In the 1980s, Leon moved the business from Dallas to a new location right on highway 321 in Gastonia. After more than 30 years at that location, Wyant and Son moved to the current location on Tulip Drive, due to the reconstruction of the highway.

Wyant and Son is a family-owned business, managed by people who grew up in Gaston County and love this community.
Owners
Leon & Debbie Wyant
Leon took over the business from his father, Mike Wyant, in the 1980's. He and his wife, Debbie Jackson Wyant, live in Dallas. They have 5 children, 9 grandchildren, and 4 chihuahuas.
Design and Sales
Jonathan Fletcher
Jonathan is Leon's grandson and has grown up in the monument business. He learned his ABCs by helping pull out letters on the monuments as a child.
Installation Specialist
Larry Davis
Larry has worked at Wyant & Son for many years and is the best around at installing memorials.
